Review sessions break with the Conference as a whole to maximize the networking opportunities. Before registering for the class, you must determine your eligibility through IFMA.
Class space is limited to approximately 24 people, so reserve your spot now!

Why Become a CFM?
IFMA and SAME have joined in a strategic alliance to allow SAME members to take advantage of continuing education and networking opportunities offered through IFMA and to achieve a certification that is relevant to DoD installation facilities staff and supporting contractors. The benefits to becoming a CFM include the following:
- The CFM is the best certification for individuals performing facilities management services.
- SAME members, as part of this program, may obtain the CFM at IFMA member prices - a substantial discount.
- Salaries of individuals in the private sector with CFM certification are higher than those without. This is particularly worthwhile for uniformed officers in government who are looking to retire in their 40's and desire to enter facilities management as a career.
- The CFM allows the holder to practice life-long learning through continuing education credits, which may be used toward the continuing education requirement for your P.E. license.
- The facilities management field drives a substantial element of cost in both the public and private sector, which is driving the need for professional managers with an expanded set of competencies.
How Much Does it Cost?
This CFM exam review course is offered to SAME and IFMA Public Sector members at a reduced rate of $300; IFMA members in the Private Sector may register for the course for $495. By comparison, the CFM review course for non-IFMA Members costs $695. Through this partnership, course attendees may then take the CFM Exam for $300; the typical non-member price of the exam is $600. An on-site exam is being offered February 28, 2007 at a cost of $300
Active military, veterans, eligible spouses and dependents may use G.I. Bill education benefits to pay for the cost of approved certification exams. To learn more about your V.A. benefits, visit the GI Bill web site for details.
CFM candidates do not have to register for the, 2007 Pacific/Northwest Region Joint Education and Training Conference in Anchorage Alaska, the Hilton Hotel will honor the conference room rate for the CFM Review Course participants. IFMA members attending the course are welcome to register for the conference at the SAME member price.
