The American Society of American Military Engineers’ Fast Start Program

The purpose of the SAME Fast Start Program is to define emergency work requirements, inventory existing regional capabilities, describe capabilities, address significant area deficiencies, make capabilities known to governmental agencies, and address specific opportunities for sustaining member participation in engineering tasks associated with the recovery from natural and man-made disasters/emergencies.

Operation Fast Start means preparedness for the full range of natural and man-made disasters/emergencies.
