Golf Tournament!
If the snow is disappearing and the days are getting longer, it must be time to think of golf! The SAME Anchorage Post Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament is first on the list of local golf tournaments. Check out the rules, sponsorship, and registration information below. This is a great event to have fun, see old friends, make new friends, and raise money for the Talley Scholarship Fund! If you have questions or interested in sponsoring, contact Larry Houle (lhoule@rimarchitects.com | 907.602.3933)
Monthly Luncheon
Our May meeting is off our normal meeting rhythm but is definitely a 'save the date' event! Please join us on 31 May at the Alaska Aviation Museum with WWII and aviation author Stan Cohen. He is the author of the series entitled 'The Forgotten War', a complete account of WWII in Alaska, including the contributions of the Army, the US Army Corps of Engineers and BB Talley's exploits and secrete missions. It is not too early to reserve your seat.
If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Carla Spires by Thursday, 24 May.
Executive Board Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Friday 25 May 2012 at 6:30 am at the Country Kitchen restaurant (346 E. Fifth Avenue, next to the Sheraton Hotel).
