The Anchorage Post is located in Anchorage, Alaska and has approximately 400 individual and 60 sustaining members. The post was founded by Brigadier General Benjamin B. Talley, USA (Retired) in 1943.

Succeeding on Construction Projects
The Anchorage Post with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is sponsoring SUCCEEDING ON CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS training seminar at the Captain Cook Hotel on March 16, 2012. This one day seminar includes lunch and coffee/soda service. The cost is $175 for SAME Members; $100 Military and DoD civilians; $225 Non-SAME Members. Six PDHs will be awarded for this seminar. See attached registration form and seminar agenda.
Monthly Luncheon
Our next monthly luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, 23 February 2012 at 11:30am. We will meet again at the Anchorage Moose Lodge. A pizza lunch will be available for $5. Note - there will be no luncheon in January in lieu of the annual banquet!.

Executive Board Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Friday, 27 Janaury 2012 at 6:30 am at the Country Kitchen restaurant (346 E. Fifth Avenue, next to the Sheraton Hotel).
Annual Banquet
The 2012 SAME Anchorage Post Banquet will be held on 28 January at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Anchorage.
The social hour will begin at 6pm with dinner to follow at 7pm. This year we will have enterainment by Las Vegas Headliner comedian Mark Robinson. More than just a magician, Mark is a comedian, illusionist, and juggler - this ought to be a lot of fun this year so please join us!
